Henry was a fascinating character: initially blessed with good looks and stature; tremendous sporting prowess; a renaissance scholar revered by his subjects as ‘Bluff King Hal’. However, over the course of his 38-year reign, he underwent a dramatic personal metamorphosis to become a despotic, cruel and tyrannical sovereign, vile of temper and cursed by his deteriorating health
I found solace in a song, too. It suggested that we must not place our worth in our appearance and such. Cause "When you look in the mirror so how do you choose?
Your clothes never wear as well the next day,And your hair never falls in quite the same way
But you never seem to run out of things to say" so, what you say seems to last, and it is actually indicative of what is in your thoughts, right?

on another search to uncover ancestors, I found this account fascinating:
"he was getting old and was obese, likely in his death bed, although only weeks earlier he had been in the saddle leading his men to victory."
Rhat was an account given of the final disposition of a man who in all pictures was thin and handsome in appearance, never even a bit on the heavy side, so the description surprised me. I noticed a similarity I had not noted before, but it does make one wonder when pretty much any documented person though fit, attractive an all around able bodied, they tend to get old and larger, even dad used to say, "as you are, I once was, and as I am you will become." even he was a marathon runner, but most of my life he has bee on the heavy side, as are my siblings. I believe now I have had enough witnesses mankind gains weight with age. It ought not be an unexpected occurrence.
